Continuing Legal Education NHBA•CLE Registration Information
How to Register Registrations are accepted by mail, telephone, fax, online or in person. Simply complete the NHBA•CLE registration form and mail it with your check or MasterCard or VISA number to: New Hampshire Bar Association (CLE), 2 Pillsbury Street, Suite 300, Concord, NH 03301 or with a MasterCard or VISA, call in your registration to the Bar's CLE Department at 603-224-6942 or FAX to 603-224-3729. Members of the NH Bar Association may also request to have their law firm billed.
Refunds Cancellations received by noon the day before a seminar commences will receive a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for "no shows", however, the program materials will be shipped after the program or a substitute may attend for someone unable to do so. NHBA•CLE CLUB membership is nontransferrable; substitutes may not attend at CLUB discount prices.
Advance Registration/Confirmations Advanced registration is strongly recommended as seating at all seminars is limited. Walk-in seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis and a $15 additional fee will be added to the applicable program tuition. (See fees listed under each seminar description). We do not send confirmations for seminar registrations. If you need confirmation, please notify the NHBA•CLE office upon registration.
Written Materials/Audio CD/DVD Packages Those unable to attend the seminar may purchase the course handbook (to be shipped after the seminar). Bar members may also purchase DVDs or Audio CDs of a program (including written materials). Individual viewing of DVDs or listening to Audio CDs of approved CLE programs with exposure to written materials qualifies for NHMCLE self-study credit.
Video Replay Sessions Video Replay sessions of seminars, which feature a faculty commentator, qualify for live NHMCLE credit. The video replay sessions are usually condensed versions of the live program and thus may carry fewer credit hours than the original live program presentation.
NHMCLE Credit (N.H. Supreme Court Rule 53) All NHBA•CLE programs qualify for NHMCLE credit. Whenever feasible, NHBA•CLE programs include an ethical and/or professionalism component. Attendees at NHBA•CLE programs will receive a 'record of attendance' to facilitate individual record keeping under Rule 53.
Discounts The tuition structure for full day seminars includes discounts for lawyers in practice less than three years; paralegals and non-lawyer law office personnel; and full-time students. (See fees listed with individual program descriptions). Also NHBA members may join the NHBA•CLE CLUB and enjoy further discounts.
Tax Deduction of Expenses An income tax deduction may be allowed for expenses of education (including travel, meals and lodging) undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills.
Accommodations If you have a disability that requires special accommodation, please contact NHBA•CLE in advance of the program date to let us know how we may accommodate your needs.
