L. Jonathan Ross Award for Outstanding Commitment to Legal Services for the Poor |
This award was named for Jon Ross in 1988 to recognize his work on the state and national level to mobilize bar leaders to support civil legal services for the poor along with his unsurpassed leadership and dedication to pro bono legal services.
David L. Nixon | The Pro Bono Referral Program has announced that David L. Nixon is the 2013 recipient Ross Award. Nixon has been both a mentor and an active Pro Bono volunteer, particularly with the DOVE Project in recent years.

Since its inception, the Bar’s Pro Bono Program has been blessed with dedicated volunteers helping the state’s low-income families and individuals with a myriad of legal issues.
