Jim Corbett, marketing director for Casemaker, gets animated discussing legal research techniques at 2013 Annual Meeting.
Jim Corbett has been in the online legal research business for over 30 years. After receiving a Masters in Library & Information Science from SUNY Albany, Jim served as law librarian at Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York City for 3 years. In 1981 he moved to Seattle to open the Northwest’s first sales office for Lexis Nexis and during the next 13 years served in many roles for that company (sales, management and product development). Jim attended the evening program at Seattle University School of Law.

After leaving Lexis, Jim served as director of research at two northwest investment banking firms; as VP of Business Development with VersusLaw; VP of Sales & Marketing at CourtsOnLine; Director of Business Development at CourtTrax; and currently Director of Business Development at Casemaker.

Jim has been to New Hampshire twice to provide Casemaker presentations (at 2012 Midyear Meeting and the 2013 Annual Meeting).
