 Crash & Safety Consultants, LLC (CSC) provides crash reconstruction services with a focus in commercial motor vehicles crashes. CSC does this by collecting the physical evidence, which includes event data retrieval (EDR) from air bag modules, power train control modules, CMV electronic control modules and vehicle control modules. We then perform an analysis of the crash dynamics through the physical evidence and then correlate the imaged information from the vehicle's event data recorder to obtain the "full picture" of the crash, which could possibly include events leading up to the collision. CSC utilizes a state of the art robotic mapping instrument to map the crash site which includes the roadway physical evidence to prepare to scale demonstrative diagrams. CSC performs detailed vehicle exams for a proper analysis and in order to determine if vehicle issues were contributing factors. CSC's expert testimony has been proven effective in depositions and trials in Virginia and other jurisdictions throughout the United States.
