Dear Potential NHMCLE Sponsor:

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring CLE programs for NH credit. Download ORACLE Form 1 and Type of Law Codes to complete the application for individual program credit.

Listed below are the responsibilities of a NHMCLE sponsor:

1) To report the names of those lawyers seeking credit in NH within 30 days of the program conclusion if the course has already been approved or make a credit application to the NHMCLE board no later than 30 days after the program;

2) To present a course that shall contribute directly to lawyers' professional competence or to their education with respect to professional or ethical obligations in a setting conducive to a good educational experience consistent with the standards for individual course approvals as set forth in Rule 53.5 (Click here to review Rule 53);

3) To provide participants with written course materials of a quantity & quality which indicates that adequate time was devoted to their preparation specifically for this course;

4) To provide participants with an attendance certificate showing the sponsor's name, program date, location & length of the actual instruction time;

5) To determine the course effectiveness through evaluations by course participants and to have those results available if requested by the NHMCLE Board;

6) To send a copy of the attendance list to the NHMCLE Board within 30 days of the program and have available if requested, course brochures, a description of the manner of presentation and a complete set of course materials.

Any course approval is valid only for the reporting year in which it occurs. The reporting year runs from July 1 to June 30.

If your organization has already had an individual program approved and will be presenting more than 5 programs between July 1 and June 30, you may be interested in becoming an Annual Sponsor for $175. Your organization agrees to present programs that will meet our requirement and the CLE programs are presumptively approved for credit in NH. Once approved as an Annual Sponsor, you have little additional paperwork & application fees and lower activity fees for any programs presented in NH. Download Form 2 (above) to apply for Annual Sponsorship.

Application Fees must accompany application when fees are charged participants to attend. There are no applications fees if participants are not charged to attend.

  • $40 Out-of-state program fee;
  • $40 In-state activity fee per presentation; (this includes: satellites, teleconference programs, audio/video sales, computer programs and other technologic presentation methods)
Make checks payable to the NHMCLE Board
