Richard Uchida Takes Office As NHBA President

Richard Y. Uchida, of the Concord law firm of Hebert & Uchida, takes office as President of the New Hampshire Bar Association at the conclusion of the 2005 NHBA Annual Meeting at The Balsams Resort & Hotel, Dixville Notch, on June 23-25, 2005.

Souhegan, Great Brook are Mock Trial Winners
Souhegan High School, coached by attorney James Hobbs, edged out three-time defending champion Milford High School in the 2005 Mock Trial competition held Saturday, April 9. Great Brook Middle School was the middle school state champion. The team was coached by teacher Ellen Salmonsen and attorney Tom Mullins. Souhegan will represent NH in the Mock Trial Nationals to be held May 5-8 in Charlotte, NC. The NH Bar Foundation has contributed $1,000 to help the team's fundraising for competition expenses.
