Throughout their long and distinguished judicial careers, Justice Brock and Justice Murphy have always recognized and encouraged attorneys to meet their public-service obligations by providing legal services to the poor through the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Pro Bono Referral Program. In supporting the pro bono work of attorneys in New Hampshire, they have upheld and strengthened the New Hampshire judiciary’s tradition of partnership with the organized bar in pursuing the goal of equal access to justice for all. Many of their judicial colleagues, in their own way, have followed their example.
On the occasion of their retirements, the New Hampshire Bar Association salutes Justice Brock and Justice Murphy for their enduring support of and leadership in the Quest for Justice.
