Daniel Webster Inn of Court Going Strong
By: James J. Tenn Jr.
The Daniel Webster Chapter of the American Inns of Court continues its tradition of excellence this year and has already completed numerous programs.
The Daniel Webster Chapter of the American Inns of Court was founded in 1993 by senior members of the Trial Bar and judges from the federal district and state supreme, superior and district courts. The chapter is a member of the National American Inns of Court, which began in 1977. The goal of the American Inns of Court is to provide an organization to help lawyers improve advocacy skills with an emphasis on the importance of professional integrity and ethics. There are more than 270 active American Inns across the country.
The Daniel Webster Inn of Court was the first New Hampshire Inn and was the 192nd Inn in the United States. Our Inn has prided itself on bringing together judges and attorneys of varying degrees of experience in a social, yet educational, atmosphere. There are approximately 60 active members of the Daniel Webster Inn. Officers for the 2000-2001 Inn year include:
