Chief Justice Brock Thanks 'On the Road' Volunteers
All of us at the NH Supreme Court want to extend our thanks to the members of the New Hampshire Bar Association who volunteered their time over the past several weeks to prepare hundreds of high school students for the special session of the Supreme Court held at Dartmouth College on April 10.
The lawyers met with students prior to the event to brief them on the appellate process and on the legal issues involved in the two cases heard by the court that day. The interchange between the lawyers and students maximizes the educational benefit of the program and we are grateful to those attorneys who so generously gave of their time.
The lawyers who participated in school briefings were Catherine A. Feeney, Robert B. Donin, Ellen L. Arnold, Ann M. Rice, Patrick T. Hayes, Thomas P. Connair, K. William Clauson, David N. Cole and Christopher M. Johnson.
I also want to thank New Hampshire Bar president Martha Van Oot for her ongoing support of this very successful public outreach program.
David A. Brock
Chief Justice
