Tenure Begins for 2003-2004 Board of Governors
THE NHBA ANNUAL Meeting at The Balsams June 26-29 will mark the changing of the guard, as outgoing officers and members of the 2002-03 Board of Governors will hand over the reins to incoming 2003-04 BOG members. Current Bar President Marty Van Oot will pass the gavel to President-Elect Russell F. Hilliard, and James E. Gleason will become the next in line to take on the Bar presidency as he transitions from vice president to president-elect. Richard Y. Uchida will return to Board service as this year’s Bar Association vice president.
The following is the complete list of the 2003-04 Board of Governors, followed by the first installment in a series of "Meet the Board of Governors" profiles – featuring both serious and lighthearted questions and answers – that will appear in Bar News over the next few months.
