New Lawyers Welcomed at Spring BBQ
THERE WAS SOMETHING cookin’ at the NH Bar Center last month – hot dogs, hamburgers, and let’s not forget the sweet Italian sausages! The NHBA’s New Lawyers’ Committee sponsored a Spring BBQ on May 13 as an introduction to the New Hampshire Bar Association, its staff and facilities. In attendance as well were members of the New Lawyers’ Committee, including more experienced practitioners.
The BBQ was catered by Durgin Lane & Washington Street Café of Concord, and beverages were generously donated by Coca-Cola of Northern New England (Belmont), the Curious Loon Restaurant & Tavern (Ashland), Smuttynose Brewing Company (Portsmouth), and United Beverages, Inc. (Concord). Other donations were graciously made by Stacy’s Pita Chip Company, Inc. of Randolph, Mass., iMoose.com of Dover and What’s In the Basket? of Northwood. Congratulations to Daniel Licata, a law clerk at Strafford County Superior Court, who was the winner of the iMoose.com specialty gift basket, and to Kysa Crusco, an attorney in Windham, winner of the What’s In the Basket? specialty gift basket!
The rainy weather certainly did not dampen the spirits of attendees. The brightly colored leis worn by the new admittees and the friendly atmosphere made for a successful evening. The New Lawyers’ Committee and the Bar Association staff thank the evening’s donors, and especially all of the evening’s guests, for their participation. Thank you for your attendance and we look forward to seeing you at the next event!
