Probate Mediation Policies Revised

PROBATE COURT ADMINISTRATIVE Order 11 relative to the probate court’s mediation policies was revised as of June 16. According to Marty Wagner, administrative coordinator of the probate court, most of the changes to the order were made to clarify questions that have arisen in the first nine months of the probate mediation program.

The changes pertain to such areas as time requirements for notifying the court regarding changes in the mediation schedule; parties being required to attend mediation sessions; and procedures if a case settles prior to mediation.

The full text of this revised order and all probate administrative orders may be found on the probate court page of the Judicial Branch Web site at www.courts.state.nh.us. Any questions regarding these orders may be directed to Administrative Judge John Maher’s office at 642-5437.
