Bar Journal Authors Wanted
The June 2004 issue of New Hampshire Bar Journal is an open issue and Bar members are encouraged to submit their ideas for articles.
The quarterly Bar Journal is New Hampshire's only forum for in-depth discussion of legal issues and jurisprudence. It is edited by the Bar Journal Editorial Advisory Board, chaired this year by Michael DeLucia. Contact DeLucia at mdelucia@doj.state.nh.us regarding your article ideas.
The September 2003 issue, "Annual Survey of New Hampshire Law," produced in collaboration with Pierce Law, was delayed, but members should have received their copies earlier this month.
The theme of the December 2003 issue of Bar Journal, edited by the Bar staff, will be "Quest for Justice," which will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the NH Bar Association's Pro Bono Referral Program, as well as an account of an epic personal injury case from the early 20th century.
The issue will also include, as an insert, an updated version of the Member Services & Resources Guide.
In March, the Bar Journal issue theme will focus on the role and work of the various bureaus of the NH Department of Justice.
NH Ethics Articles Searchable on Casemaker
NHBA Ethics Committee articles and opinions dating back to the late 1980s are now posted on the Casemaker Web Library, accessible through For Members.
The Casemaker library also contains NH court rules and RSAs, as well as law libraries for many other states, including all of the New England states. Members report that the Casemaker search engine is extremely easy to use.
Casemaker is available at no cost to all members of the Bar. If you have not logged on, contact nhbainfo@nhbar.org for user name and password information.
