New Look For Federal Court's PACER System
ALTHOUGH ELECTRONIC case filing (ECF) in the U.S. District Court - District of NH will not be available until June of 2004, the court will implement a new case management (CM) system starting Nov. 3, 2003. The only immediate impact the new CM system will have on attorneys and the public is the different appearance of the PACER login and query screens. Attorneys will still use their existing logins and passwords to access the new PACER system, which will be called ECF-PACER. Similarly, while the query screen will have a different appearance and increased functionality, it will essentially function in the same manner as the old PACER system. If you would like to look at the new ECF-PACER login and query screens or obtain further information on the new system, go to the court's Web site at www.nhd.uscourts.gov and click on the "What's New" section on the home page or click on the "Electronic Case Files" link and select the "Future System" option.
