Consider a Stint in ABA CEELI Rule of Law Program
Want an Overseas Experience?
THE CENTRAL EUROPEAN and Eurasian Law Initiative (CEELI), a public service project of the American Bar Association, is currently seeking experienced attorneys for the following positions. The start dates are noted in parentheses.
For volunteer positions, CEELI considers only attorneys with a minimum of five years' legal experience, bar membership, a high level of energy and initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated legal expertise in the substantive area of the position. International experience and foreign language skills are preferred, but not required. All volunteers participating for more than two months receive a generous support package that covers travel, housing, general living and business expenses. In-country foreign language training, medical evacuation insurance and reimbursement for medical insurance premiums are also included.
