Inclement Weather Notice

In the event of inclement weather, the closing or delayed opening of the Bar Center will be announced on the following radio stations:

If the Bar Center is experiencing a delayed opening, we will be open as soon as is reasonably possible for staff to safely get into the office. If you are in doubt about the status of any meeting, please call the Bar Center (224-6942) before you start out.

NHBA Member Statistics

Some interesting statistics on NH Bar Association membership as of Nov. 4, 2003:

• There are a total of 5,426 members in the NHBA, 4,067 of whom are on active status.
• There are 3,138 active in-state NH attorneys and 929 active out-of-state.
• 2,498 NH Bar members belong to an NHBA Section.
• The majority of NH law firms are solo practices: 963 of the 1,412 firms in the state, or 68 percent, are one-attorney firms.
• 67.5 percent of NH Bar members are men; 32.5 percent are women.
