Get Involved: Join the Board of Governors

The Annual Election of officers and members of the New Hampshire Bar Association Board of Governors is just a few months away. Board of Governors officers and members play a key role in representing the interests of NH Bar members while ensuring that the profession and NH’s justice system continue to thrive.

Open positions on the Board of Governors for the 2003-04 term include: vice president; secretary; treasurer; governor-at large (two vacancies); and county governor representing Belknap, Carroll, Hillsborough North, Hillsborough South, Strafford or Sullivan County; and association delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. Petitions for board seats are due by Feb. 16, 2004.

Those interested in running for a position on the NHBA Board of Governors should fill out and return the nomination petition on below. Joining the Board of Governors is a rewarding way to serve your colleagues, the legal profession and our justice system. Anyone seeking information about service on the board is encouraged to contact current board members or the Bar’s executive director, Jeannine McCoy.
