Anne Breault Helps CLE Programs Come Together

Bar Center Profile:

THERE’S A LOT of behind the scenes work to make sure that every NHBA CLE program is successful for the participants. Each program involves a myriad of details —from ensuring that the Bar members volunteering for the faculty are coordinating their presentations, to overseeing details of meeting room setup on the day of the program.

Anne Breault, CLE Program Coordinator, and a Bar employee for the past year, is a key member of the NHBA CLE team who helps keep track of those details. Breault works on a variety of tasks to help make sure each program is presented in pleasant, comfortable surroundings, using the most up-to-date materials and equipment.

Part of Breault’s job is pulling together the comprehensive materials provided at each program — a logistical challenge, given that materials generally are coming in from several busy attorneys and must be printed in quantities that vary, depending on live enrollment and anticipated demand in conjunction with video replays and video rentals.

Under the guidance of CLE Director Joanne Hinnendael, Breault also assists with marketing and continuing improvement of CLE programs, including imaginative advertising, helping to solicit exhibitors whose fees keep down the CLE fees members pay, and providing on-site feedback on presentations to both the CLE Director and other staff and the CLE Committee.

"Being CLE Program Coordinator has been very rewarding and educational. The varieties of seminars and ‘hot topics’ we offer come directly from practitioners that make up the CLE Committee. The entire CLE staff and the Committee take pride in our programs," said Breault.

Before coming to the NHBA, Breault held positions where she worked with managerial staff and the public. She worked for ten years with the American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO, Northern New England Council (New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine). She began as office manager and went on to become president of the local UAW unit. Her other positions included Program Administrator for Dollars & Sense (a grant-funded program designed to get disabled people back to work) at UNH Institute of Disabilities. Just before coming to the Bar, Breault was Events Coordinator for West Institute at Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center (Concord), part of Dartmouth Medical School.

Anne lives in Contoocook on the Wee Little Farm, where she trains and enjoys her three horses: a thoroughbred, Graceful Coquette; a Peruvian Paso, Trinity; and her newest addition, a four-year-old Arabian, Lafizar. Anne, active in many sports, enjoys endurance riding, a challenge to both her and her horses.
