Kevin Devine to be Honored as 2005 Honorary Fellow
The New Hampshire Bar Foundation has announced that it will recognize Kevin C. Devine as an Honorary Fellow at its annual Fellows Reception, to be held in conjunction with the NHBA Midyear Meeting, February 18, 2005.
"We are very pleased to be honoring our good friend and colleague, Kevin Devine," said Bar Foundation Board Chair Paul Chant. "Attorney Devine has been a consistent supporter of the Bar Foundation and its goals throughout his career. We know he will sustain and advance the mission of the Bar Foundation to support equal access to justice and enhanced understanding of our legal system in the years to come." Devine chaired the Bar Foundation from 1994 to 1997.
Attorney Devine is a graduate of Boston College Law School and has been a member of the NH Bar since 1978. While in law school, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. Upon graduation, he became law clerk for Senior Associate Justice, William A. Grimes. Following the clerkship, he joined the litigation department of Devine, Millimet Stahl & Branch. In 1985, he co-founded the firm of Devine & Nyquist. Mr. Devine's practice focuses on matters of civil and commercial litigation, personal injury litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, and environmental law. He also frequently serves as a private mediator in matters of complex litigation. He served on the NHBA Board of Governors from 1988 to 1993, and also served for many years on the Board of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation.
