Dom D'Ambruoso Elected Secretary to National Network of Law Firms

Susan Manchester Defeats Objectionable Neighborhood Variance
Susan A. Manchester, a partner with Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, representing Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services (MNHS), a developer of affordable housing projects in the city, successfully defeated the request of Community Solutions, Inc. for a variance to put a federal halfway house on Somerville Street.
Chuck Douglas Elected President of Highland Games
Chuck Douglas of Concord was recently elected president of the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Gathering of the Scottish Clans. Douglas, a former congressman and Supreme Court Justice, has been vice-president of the Games for the last three years; he says he is looking forward to an even better 2005 Games, marking 30 years of celebrating Scottish tradition. The Games will be held at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds Sept. 23-25.
Maria E. Recalde Joins ALPFA Advisory Board
Attorney Maria E. Recalde, a director at Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, has joined the Advisory Board of the Boston Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). The organization seeks to enhance opportunities for CPAs, accountants, finance and related professionals and students, while expanding Latino leadership in the global workforce. A native of Managua, Nicaragua, Attorney Recalde focuses her practice on Internet and e-commerce law, intellectual property, unfair competition and complex business litigation; she also practices before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
