In Memoriam - Robert G. Senn
Robert G. Senn, a longtime Nashua attorney, died May 13, 2001, at the age of 59 at University Hospital in Syracuse, NY, after a lengthy battle with leukemia.
Born in Little Silver, NJ, on July 18, 1941, Senn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1963 and Suffolk Law School in Boston in 1970. He was an Army veteran who served a tour of duty in Stuttgart, Germany, from 1963 to 1968 before being honorably discharged.
Senn moved to New Hampshire in 1971, when he was admitted to the NH Bar. He began his practice of law with Howard Nedved, with whom he worked for 15 years. Senn then shared a law office with attorney Robert Earley until his illness forced him to discontinue the practice of law in 2000.
Senn was an ardent sailor, model train collector and conservationist. He fulfilled a lifelong dream by crewing in a replica of the HMS Endeavor from Hawaii to New Zealand in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Janine Nugent-Senn of Fayetteville, New York; and three aunts, Anna Thaw, Annabelle Parkinson and Irene Walston, all of Chrisfield, Md.
