Law Firms, Volunteers Assist LawLine Callers
The law firms of Boynton, Waldron, Doleac, Woodman & Scott of Portsmouth and the Manchester law office of Nixon Peabody hosted LawLine in January and February.
In March, LawLine was hosted by the McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton firm.
Law firms hosting the free legal information line sponsored by the NH Bar Association provide a valuable public service for individuals who don't know where to go for information in the legal system and either cannot afford or are unsure whether they need a lawyer.
For the January LawLine, special thanks go to attorneys David Klingebiel, Christine Casa, Philip Pettis and Cyrus Rilee, who answered a total of 52 calls for the evening.
In February at the Nixon Peabody firm, LawLine was capably handled by attorneys John Turcotte, Michael Johnson, Doran Rymes, John Friberg, Philip Taub, and Andrew Tarsy, and Diane Bunnell and Cheri Noonan. There were 59 calls taken.
In March 36 callers were assisted, thanks to McLane attorneys Andrea Daly, Denis Dillon, and Patrick Closson; and, from the Seacoast, John Pendleton, of Dwyer, Donovan & Pendleton in Portsmouth, and Dover practitioner Tracy Bernson.
If you or your firm would like to host LawLine in an upcoming month (July, November and December are currently available), please contact Sheila Dion at (603) 224-6942 or by email at sdion@nhbar.org.
