McDonough Receives Manchester Bar's Lifetime Achievement Award
Peter McDonough, who served as Hillsborough County Attorney for 16 years (after starting in the office as an assistant in 1975) was honored with the Manchester Bar Association's Lifetime Achievement Award last month. McDonough, center, is pictured with current and former members of the County Attorney's office who attended the Manchester Bar meeting, held in conjunction with the Nashua Bar Association, at the Bedford Village Inn. Nearly 200 people attended the dinner. McDonough, who entertained the audience with remarks delivered with modesty and understated humor, said he was "greatly honored and flattered" at the turnout.
McDonough currently works as a hearings examiner for the NH Department of Safety.
Also honored at the dinner (but unable to attend) was Superior Court Associate Justice William Groff, who received the Ted Jordan Humanitarian Award presented by the Nashua Bar Association.
The Manchester Bar's last meeting of the year takes place on May 17 at the Manchester Country Club. It will include the presentation of the Chester Eaton Scholarships. Contact Paula Green at (603) 645-1211 or at pjgreen@nhdivorceattorney.com to make a reservation.
