Bruce Harwood Appointed to NH Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees
Attorney Bruce Harwood, a partner in the law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA and chair of its bankruptcy and insolvency Group, has been appointed to the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Josh Menard Named to Community Technical College System Board
Josh Menard, an attorney in the Concord office of the Preti Flaherty law firm, was named to the NH Community Technical College System Board of Trustees. Menard will serve as the alumni representative on the board, and was appointed by the Governor and Executive Council to a four-year term. Menard, a graduate of Boston College Law School, earned an Associate of Science degree in criminal justice from NH Technical Institute.
Michael Listner Becomes Legal Officer of Civil Air Patrol
Michael J. Listner, a solo practitioner in East Rochester, has been appointed Legal Officer for New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol. Attorney Listner has accepted this position on a volunteer basis.
Viscarello Appointed to NH Preservation Alliance Board of Directors
Kenneth Viscarello, a partner in the law firm of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, recently joined the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance Board of Directors. Founded in 1985, the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance is dedicated to preserving and protecting landscapes, historic structures, communities, and the positive values that make up New Hampshire.
Tom Burack Presents Audubon Program at Pleasant View
Tom Burack, an attorney with Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, presented a Chautauqua-style, living history portrayal of John James Audubon at the Pleasant View Retirement Home on April 14. Burack presented a monologue based on Audubon's written works, took questions in character, and then came out of character to answer modern-day questions about Audubon and his legacy. Burack regularly presents this program across the state through the NH Humanities Council.
Stan Hawthorne Sponsors Clinic on Living Wills
Attorney Stanley Hawthorne, a solo practitioner in Wakefield, and Charlie McLaughlin of McLaughlin Real Estate held a free Living Will clinic for Wakefield and Brookfield residents. Hawthorne urged other attorneys to provide similar clinics and services in their communities.
Susan Duprey Elected Chair of Board of Greater Manchester Chamber
The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has elected Susan Duprey, president of Devine, Millimet & Branch, P.A., as chair of its Board of Directors. The GMCC is the largest chamber in New Hampshire and represents nearly 1000 businesses. Duprey has been named one of the state's Thirty Most Powerful Women.
