Retiring Chief Justice Brock to be Honored

CAPPING THE EVENTS of the 2004 NHBA Midyear Membership Meeting will be a dinner in honor of former Chief Jus tice David A. Brock on Friday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m., following the Midyear Meeting Reception. Justice Brock’s retirement was effective on Dec. 31, 2003.

Brock, 67, served on the court since 1978 and was appointed chief justice in 1986. During his tenure, he authored more than 800 opinions and oversaw the unification and centralization of the state judiciary.

An interview with Chief Justice Brock will be published in an upcoming issue of Bar News.

Details of the dinner are still being worked out. Advance purchase of tickets for the dinner is strongly encouraged.
