Farewell From the Managing Editor
By: Lisa Segal
THIS IS MY final issue as Bar News managing editor, after three and a half years. My husband and I are expecting our first child and I have resigned from my position to be a stay-at-home mom.
Although I am looking forward to this new challenge in my life, I will miss working for the Bar Association. The staff here at the Bar Center, the Bar leaders and the attorneys whom I worked or came into contact with through Bar News made this job rewarding and enjoyable, and I thank them for that. I will particularly miss the camaraderie and support of the Bar staff.
I am sure that my successor, whoever that may be, will do a superb job of managing the daily operations of Bar News and will continue in the tradition of bringing to our readers informative, interesting articles about lawyers, the courts and the legal profession in New Hampshire. This is the kind of coverage for which Bar News is known and praised.
Those of you with article ideas, letters to the editor, or other material for Bar News should contact editor Dan Wise at (603) 224-6942 or at dwise@nhbar.org until my successor is named.
Again, thank you for the opportunity to work for Bar News and with the state’s legal community.
Goodbye and good luck.
