An updated list of guardians ad litem certified for appointment in the Superior Court is available on the court's Web site at http://www.courts.state.nh.us/superior/. (This list contains both the guardians ad litem newly certified by the state Guardian ad litem Board as well as those GALs previously certified under a court-run process. GALs certified under either process are qualified to be appointed for superior court matters.

Court-certified GALs have until 2007 to take the training to become certified under the state GAL Board process, which, under statute, will assume all responsibilities for the screening, training, certification and discipline of GALs.
