NH Law Library's New Online Catalog
The New Hampshire Law Library’s first online catalog is now available at http://nhll.ipac.dynixasp.com or from the law library’s homepage at http://www.courts.state.nh.us/lawlibrary/, announced Mary S. Searles, NH State Law Librarian.
The conversion from a paper card catalog to an online database is an enormous undertaking for a library and Christine Swan, the former law librarian, and Kathy Fletcher, now the cataloger at Franklin Pierce Law Center Library, did the lion’s share of the work in preparing for this change, Searles said. She also thanked the Administrative Office of the Courts’ information technology director, Thomas Edwards, and his staff for their work on the project, as well as the justices of the Supreme Court, and most particularly Justice Richard Galway, for their continued support for the library.
"A library catalog is a work in progress and many of our materials, particularly the older collections, are not yet in the catalog. We will be adding these and new materials and other information that we hope you will find useful. If you have any questions or problems with the catalog, please do not hesitate to let me know," said Searles. Contact her at (603) 271-3777 or at msearles@courts.state.nh.us.
