Keefe Named CEO of PAX World Management Corp
Joseph F. Keefe of Manchester has accepted a position with PAX World Management Corporation in Portsmouth. The corporation manages PAX World Funds which serves investors who seek to invest in companies that behave as good corporate citizens and produce goods and services that improve the quality of life.
Keefe, a member of the NH Bar Association since 1984 and a former Manchester trial lawyer, has served as a consultant on legal issues and marketing for asset management firms and nonprofits interested in socially responsible investing for the past few years.
Keefe also chaired the NH Democratic Party and was a candidate for Congress while in practice in Manchester.
Alan Reische Is Re-elected to NH Workforce Opportunity Council, Inc
Attorney Alan Reische, a director of the law firm Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green PA, Manchester, was recently re-elected Vice Chair of the New Hampshire Workforce Opportunity Council, Inc., and also joined its Executive Committee. He has been a member of the Council since it’s formation in 1997—and a member of the NH Bar Association since 1965.
The mission of the Council is to promote life-long learning by partnering with businesses, agencies, and organizations to bring the state’s education, employment and training programs together into a workforce development system that will provide the means for residents of New Hampshire to gain sufficient skills, education, employment and financial independence.
Charles Szypszak Joins Faculty at the University of North Carolina
Charles Szypszak has joined the School of Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an Associate Professor of Public Law and Government. He will be teaching, publishing, and consulting with public officials on matters of real property laws and reforms.
Szypszak, formerly an attorney with Orr & Reno PA in Concord, has been a member of the NH Bar Association since 1986.
Michael J. Listner Promoted to Captain
Michael J. Listner, Legal Officer of the New Hampshire Civil Air Patrol was recently promoted to the rank of captain by Colonel Margie E. Sambold. Civil Air Patrol is a federally chartered, non-profit corporation and an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. New Hampshire’s Civil Air Patrol is headquartered in Concord.
Listner is a solo practitioner in Rochester, NH and has been a member of the NH Bar Association since 2003.
