At its annual banquet held this summer at Wentworth By The Sea, the NH Trial Lawyers Association presented its Civil Justice Award to Chief Timothy Russell of Henniker.  The award is presented to a person who strives to provide access to the justice system; Russell was honored for his work helping victims of domestic violence.  He has worked with the NH Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Emergency Project (DOVE) for several years, particularly in DOVE training seminars, and is an instructor on domestic violence law and investigation at the NH Police Academy.  He is also a member of the Governor’s Commission on Domestic Violence.
