A Reminder for Literary Lawyers
The 4th Annual Legal Fiction Writing for Lawyers Conference hosted by SEAK, Inc. in Falmouth, MA in September is designed to give aspiring lawyer/authors hands-on and practical training on how to write legal fiction and get published. Many of the nation’s top literary agents will attend the conference looking for new lawyer authors. Topics covered will include: Mechanics of Writing; Characters; Plot; Getting Published; Writing Exercises and Group Discussions; and Personal Success Stories.
Conference faculty members include New York Times best-selling authors Lisa Scottoline and Stephen Horn. Scottoline won the Edgar Allen Poe Award for excellence in suspense fiction for her second thriller Final Appeal and has written four other New York Times bestsellers. Horn’s first piece of fiction In Her Defense became a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into eight languages.
