Workforce Diversity Conference Oct. 12
The New Hampshire Cultural Diversity Awareness Council (NHCDAC) will host its third annual Business Diversity Conference, on Wed. Oct. 12, 2005, at 7:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel, Center of NH, Manchester.
The Business Diversity Conference is designed to help New Hampshire businesses compete better in a global economy. Speakers and panelists include:
•Ronald N. Langston, US Commerce Department, National Director of the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA). A central theme of Langston’s management vision is empowerment through entrepreneurship.
•Jay Lucas, CEO, The Lucas Group, Bedford, NH. For twenty years, Lucas has helped executives, investors and management teams set their strategic direction.
•Nannu Nobis, President, Nobis Engineering, Concord, NH. Nobis Engineering was recently recognized by Business NH Magazine as the Best Small Company To Work For in NH.
•David Hall, Professor of Law at Northeastern University. Hall’s areas of specialization are civil rights, legal education, and social justice.
•Kendal H. Tyre, Diversity Action Committee co-chair at Nixon Peabody LLP, has been appointed chair of the National Bar Association’s corporate diversity initiative task force.
