NHMCLE News: Track CLE Attendance, Complete CLE Programs Online

Bar members have available a variety of Web resources to assist them in completion of their annual NHMCLE reporting requirements at www.nhbar.org.

Members can review the Annual Sponsor list and download the Attorney Credit Application Form by selecting NHMCLE SC Rule 53 from the homepage, and also view online CLE programs—pre-approved for NHMCLE live credit, by selecting NHBA CLE from the homepage.

To check CLE attendance reported for a member from all sponsors, Bar members must have a current e-mail address on file with the NHBA.  If you have not already provided this, please send your e-mail address to NHBAinfo@nhbar.org.  It will take until the next business day to include your address and give you access to the system.  If you believe your address is on file and are unable to log into the system, please send a request for help to NHBAinfo@nhbar.org.

To review your attendance, go to www.nhbar.orgLog into the For Members area.  If you’ve never done it before, please contact nhbainfo@nhbar.org to obtain your user name and password.

After you log in, you will be on the For Members page.  Select NHMCLE Attorney Records in the lower right corner.  Accept the security prompts and look to the left side of the next page where you will see your name under Current Year Summary.  Click on the word “more” underneath the summary and you should see any carry-over credit and your individual course details.  You can send an e-mail to NHMCLE if there is a problem with any of the listings by clicking on the ? next to the course.

The credits in the new system are listed a little differently from how we are used to seeing them.  In the new system for each listing, you add together the credits listed under Ethics and General to come up with the total credits for that program.

Whenever you attend a program you wish to claim for CLE credit, make sure it is accredited in NH and request that your attendance be reported to NHMCLE.  If it is not accredited by the NHMCLE Board, use the Attorney Credit Application Form to apply within 30 days of the program’s conclusion.
