Meet and Greet members of the Bench & Bar, sponsored by the New Lawyers Committee. Wednesday, Dec. 14 - 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Grappone Conference Center. Meet judges and seasoned members of the Bar at this informal gathering following the first day of the Practical Skills program.
Mentor Program -Assists newly admitted attorneys (in practice fewer than three years), referred to as associates, with a host of law practice management issues. The purpose of the program is to promote general lawyering skills and competency by linking the associate with an experienced practitioner (someone who has been in practice more than five years). The program is not designed to provide advice or assistance regarding employment or substantive legal matters. (See accompanying article.)
Free Section Membership for 1st year. In the first year after admittance, NHBA members may join any of the Bar’s 21 sections, and participate in the e-mail discussion groups (listserves), attend meetings, and enjoy other benefits of section memberships. Find out more about Sections at the “Taste of the Bar” exhibits at lunch at the Practical Skills CLE.
These are just a few of the ways in which the NHBA reaches out to newer members of the Bar to welcome, educate and integrate them into the NH legal community. Contact NHBA Member Services Coordinator Rose Anocibar for details or simply browse around at www.nhbar.org in the For Members section. Contact nhbainfo@nhbar.org for your user name and password.
