On October 26, 2005, the NH Bar welcomed 93 new members, sworn in that day in two sessions at the NH Supreme Court.   Of the new admittees, 44 are men and 49 are women. Thirteen were admitted by motion under Rule 42.  Some other interesting statistics:

Sixty of the new members were born in 1975 or since then, meaning they are 30 years of age or younger.  Sixty graduated from law schools outside of New Hampshire, while 33 attended law schools within New Hampshire.
 

Senior Associate Justice Joseph P. Nadeau, center, spoke to the new admittees, emphasizing the "public duties" of their profession.  Justice Nadeau recently announced his retirement, effective Dec. 31, 2005.  An interview with Justice Nadeau will be published in an upcoming issue of Bar News.
