ABA President Slated as Luncheon Speaker
Michael S. Greco, president of the American Bar Association, will be the featured speaker at the Honors & Awards luncheon at the 2006 NHBA Midyear Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16.
This year’s meeting, which continues through Friday, Feb. 17 (with an all-day program featuring law practice management guru and popular CLE speaker Jay Foonberg), will offer a wide array of programming and social networking opportunities.
Greco, a trial lawyer, mediator and arbitrator and a member of the ABA since 1974, has taken a special interest in issues of pro bono and public service throughout his career, and is a fitting choice to help present the Bar’s public service awards.
In addition, this year’s Midyear Meeting will be in a different venue – the Radisson Hotel – Center of New Hampshire in downtown Manchester.
This year’s program, themed “Take Command of Your Future” will provide programming in a variety of formats:
- A program helping to identify what our legal profession in New Hampshire will look like over the next ten years;
- A series of short, quick-hitting “Best Practices” sessions;
- Members of various NHBA Sections and Committees will be on hand at a “Hall of Sections and Committees” to discuss with you the hottest topics in various areas of the law.
