Network & Learn at 2006 Midyear Meeting

It is time to make your reservations for the 2006 NHBA Midyear Meeting, taking place this year at a NEW location—the Radisson Hotel—Center of New Hampshire, Manchester.

Programming this year spans two days, with more programs and networking opportunities in new formats that will get you thinking, moving around and interacting with colleagues you know and those you’d like to know.

Highlights of Day 1, Thursday, Feb. 16 include:

           A thought-provoking program on “Future of the Legal Profession” featuring both national and local speakers and a discussion of how these forces will affect NH legal practice;

          A series of shorter, faster-paced programs on “Best Practices” covering topics such as: the client of tomorrow, making your law office a better place to work, the high-tech crystal ball, practice tips for litigators, practice tips for transactional lawyers, and Casemaker training, avoiding disciplinary problems, ADR: lawyers as problem-solvers;

          More than 20 NHBA sections and committees presenting information and available for conversation at the Hall of Committees and Sections at the end of Day 1, followed by the Midyear Reception;

          ABA President Mike Greco and NH Chief Justice John T. Broderick as featured speakers at the Honors & Awards luncheon;

And … Charles DeGrandpre will be this year’s Honorary Bar Foundation Fellow. Celebrate with him at the Fellows Reception at the end of the day Thursday.

On Day 2, Friday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy an entertaining, fact-packed and practical CLE by best-selling author and attorney Jay Foonberg on common-sense law practice management.
