New Leadership at Devine Millimet
Alexander J. Walker, Jr. has been elected to a three-year term as president of Devine, Millimet & Branch in Manchester, effective January 1, 2006. He succeeds Susan Duprey in that position. As president, Walker oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s four offices, 84 attorneys and 183 employees. He also is responsible for the firm’s strategic initiatives throughout Northern New England.
Walker chairs the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He also is an at-large member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Board of Governors. He received his J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law and has been a member of the NH Bar since 1992.
The law firm also announced that R. Daniel Peterson of Billerica, Mass. has been named executive director of the firm. He will lead the administrative team and will be responsible for the business operations of the firm, including finance, information technology, human resources, marketing, facility and library functions.
Peterson has 20 years of legal and service organization management experience.
