PIC Auction Takes Bids for a Good Cause
Franklin Pierce Law Center’s 14th Annual Public Interest (PIC) Auction will take place Friday, March 24, 2006 at the Courtyard Marriott - Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The silent auction and pre-viewing begins at 5 p.m. and the live auction begins at 7 p.m. Richard McNamara of Wiggin & Nourie in Manchester and president-elect of the NH Bar Association, is honorary chair of this year’s event.
Items up for bid include artwork, services, and fabulous vacations - including an African Photo Safari at the Zulu Nyala reserve and a round trip and hotel stay package to the Azores Islands donated by Azores Express. All auction proceeds fund summer internships for Franklin Pierce Law Center students working for non-profit or government agencies serving the public interest.
The auction will strive to raise $60,000. Single tickets are $15 or firms/ organizations may sponsor a table (seating 10) for $250. An individual or organization may also contribute by placing an ad in the auction program booklet: $300, full page, $150 half-page and $75 for a quarter page, by donating an auction item, or by sponsoring a full or partial fellowship.
