Member Benefits Spotlighted - “ABA Retirement Funds” Established
The American Bar Retirement Association and the affiliated ABA Members Retirement Program, both started more than 40 years ago by the American Bar Association, have now become “ABA Retirement Funds,” offering tax-qualified retirement plan services to qualified law professionals. The program is administered by State Street Bank and Trust.
NH Bar members, whether or not they are members of the ABA, are eligible to participate in the ABA Retirement Funds.
The program’s low cost makes it an attractive option for employers, administrators, and proprietors of law firms, big and small. Eligibility is open to any law firm or practitioner that has at least one partner or shareholder who is a member of the ABA, or a state or local bar association represented in the ABA’s House of Delegates.
