Just Starting Out? Financial Advice for You
As a member benefit, the Bar offers access (through www.nhbar.org For Members area) to a comprehensive Web site providing information and advice on all kinds of topics to help members with personal or workplace issues.
Each month, the Work/Life Balance Web site has a featured theme in addition to a broad menu of tip sheets, articles, and updated links to resources. The month of April—tax time—highlights “Financial Preparedness –Start Now.” Among the topics featured are: “101 Ways to Save Money” and “How the Young Can Whittle Down Debt.”
Members and their family members also can participate in an online Web seminar titled “First Steps towards Financial Fitness” on April 18; 1-2 p.m. No charge, although pre-registration is required.
The “Work/Life Balance” Web site at www.nhbar.org is a free member benefit available 24/7. It includes ample resources on workplace topics such as improving productivity, time and task management tips, and communication skills. The site also provides a gateway to information on health, consumer issues, parenting, elder care, and more.
