Pro Bono Efforts of Vicki Roundy Recognized

The Sunday, March 26 issue of Foster’s Daily Democrat published a detailed profile, with photos, noting Barrington attorney Vicki Roundy’s Pro Bono activities.

 

Roundy was the recipient of the Strafford County Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award, presented at the 2006 Midyear Meeting.

 

The second-oldest of 12 children in a family that experienced a divorce, Roundy said she empathizes with clients of modest means who are struggling with divorce and child support issues. “I have walked a mile in their shoes,” she said.

 

The article also quotes Roundy as saying:  "The attorneys that do [Pro Bono work] believe that everyone should have equal access to justice and money shouldn't stand in their way.”
