2006 NHBA Annual Meeting Preview
The 2006 NHBA Annual Meeting returns to the mountains, but in a new venue – the historic Mountain View Grand Resort Hotel, which is nestled within 400 acres of wilderness and in the shadow of the White Mountains.
Many outdoor pleasures await meeting-goers, including golf (the traditional Annual Meeting scramble golf tournament takes place on a challenging mountain course), horseback riding, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, as well as excursions to nearby events and attractions. The resort offers a supervised children’s’ program as well.
And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for socializing and sumptuous dining. The awards banquet will feature the presentation of the Donald Dufresne Professionalism Award, the William Grimes Judicial Professionalism Award, and the Distinguished Service to the Profession Award. The award ceremony will also include special recognition of the 50-year members of the Bar, as well as the induction of the incoming NHBA President, Richard McNamara, of Wiggin & Nourie, officers and other members of the Board of Governors.
