An attorney new to practice or who is developing a new enterprise in the Manchester area might qualify to obtain low-priced office space in the Amoskeag Business Incubator housed in the Millyard area of Manchester.

ABI, started in 1997 as a joint venture of Southern NH University and the City of Manchester, provides affordable office space and technical assistance to “early stage companies” and entrepreneurs. Office space ranges in size 130 to 500 square feet for leases of at least six months without a security deposit. Leases are subject to approval following an application process to determine eligibility as an early-stage business and suitability for the services of the incubator.

The ABI offers shared resources such as conference rooms, photocopy and fax machines, an LCD projector, and wireless and wired Internet access. More importantly, tenants can benefit from a variety of support services including business plan reviews and counseling, workshops, networking events, product and service provider discounts, and other services.
