Impact on Bar Center Operations
Details on the exact timetable of the move and the impact on operations will be communicated in the May 19 Bar News, through the e-Bulletin and at www.nhbar.org.
At present, it is expected that the Bar Center on Pleasant Street will be closed to the public during the week of June 5, with the projected re-opening at the new location at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12.
Telephone service and e-mail communications will be shut off for a short period of time during that week, with all e-mail messages stored and re-routed when the Bar’s computer network and e-mail computer server are started up at the Pillsbury Street location.
Arrangements are being made to pick up mail addressed to Pleasant Street for some weeks after the move to ensure that there is no disruption in mail service; Bar members are encouraged to note the change of address in the accompanying box.
The Web site is not expected to be taken down at any point during the move, and other electronic services, such as the e-Bulletin, the e-mail discussion groups, online CLE, and the NHMCLE Web site, will also be unaffected.
