Bar Foundation News: Bar Foundation Board Welcomes New Members

The New Hampshire Bar Foundation welcomes a new slate of officers and five new members to its board of directors this month.
The officers include Russell F. Hilliard, of Upton & Hatfield in Concord, chair; Hon. Philip S. Hollman, retired superior court associate justice, vice-chair; Ruth Ansell, of Ansell & Anderson, treasurer; and Nina C. Gardner, executive director of the NH Judicial Council, secretary. Incoming board members include:

Bonnie J. Boulanger, associate of Hatem & Donovan, Salem, serves on the Law-Related Education Committee and regularly volunteers for NHBA and NHBF-sponsored programs—such as Mock Trial, We the People, and the Pro Bono Program, and also serves on several national and local boards. |

Wilbur (Bill) Glahn, partner and chair of the Business Litigation Group at McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Manchester, is a former N.H. Assistant Attorney General and was Chief of the Civil Division. He is chair of the NHBA Business Litigation Section and a NHBF Life Fellow. He is also involved with the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association; Federal Court Advisory Committee, United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire and Local Rules Advisory Committee, United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. |

Douglas P. Hill, partner at Nungesser & Hill, Meredith, served as Law Clerk to Justice Lawrence I. Duncan at the N.H. Supreme Court and later was a managing attorney for NH Legal Assistance. He served on the IOLTA Grants Committee for three terms, is past president of N.H. Legal Assistance and is currently a member of the NHLA and LARC boards. |

Kathleen M. Robinson, partner at Robinson, Boesch, Sennott & Aeschliman, Portsmouth, is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), prior co-author of “New Hampshire Probate Law and Procedure,” and past chair of the NHBA Elder Law Section. |

Lisa A. Wellman-Ally, in private practice in Claremont, served two years as the Sullivan County Governor to the NHBA and will serve over the next three years as a governor-at-large. She is a member of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association. |

Current board members, whose terms continue, include: John B. Andrews; Ellen L. Arnold; Eleanor Wm. Dahar; Robert R. Howard; Celia K. Leonard; Richard B. McNamara; Jeffery B. Savage; Racheal L. Stuart; James J. Tenn; Jr.; Richard Y. Uchida; and Lawrence A. Vogelman. Hon. James E. Duggan continues as Court Liaison.
The NH Bar Foundation has invested more than $20 million of philanthropic funds in the state since 1977 through grants to organizations that serve New Hampshire’s most vulnerable populations.
