Request For Public Comment on Proposals to Amend Rules of Professional Conduct
NH Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules
The New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules is considering a Rreport of the New Hampshire Bar Association Ethics Committee on Revisions to the Rules of Professional Conduct, and a recommendation of the Pro Bono Referral Program to revise Rule 6.1 of the Rules of Professional Conduct. The Advisory Committee has voted to request preliminary PUBLIC COMMENT on these proposed revisions from any member of the public, the bench, or the bar.
The text of the Ethics Committee’s proposals regarding the Rules of Professional Conduct appears in Appendix A, and the text of the Pro Bono Referral Program’s proposal appears in Appendix B, available on the Internet at: http://www.courts.state.nh.us/committees/adviscommrules/index.htm.
Comments on any of the proposals may be submitted in writing to the secretary of the Advisory Rules Committee, at the N.H. Supreme Court Building, 1 Noble Drive, Concord, New Hampshire 03301 (Tel. 271-2646), at any time on or before September 1, 2006. Comments may also be e-mailed to the Committee on or before September 1, 2006, at: rulescomment@courts.state. nh.us.
