Claudia Damon Receives Athena Award
Claudia Damon of McLane Graf Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester has won the 2006 Athena Award from the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. The Athena Award celebrates the potential of all women as valued members and leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. Damon has been a member of the NH Bar since 1974.
Bickford Joins Arts Center Board
G. Thomas Bickford has joined the board of directors of the Wolfeboro Area Creative Arts Center, a non-profit organization offering lessons and other opportunities for enrichment in the creative, fine and performance arts to people of all ages. Bickford, of the Law Offices of G. Thomas Bickford in Wolfeboro, has been a member of the NH Bar since 1999 and belongs also to the state bars of New York and Connecticut. He is a member of The Village Players community theater in Wolfeboro and is an on-call firefighter, as well as vice president of the Wolfeboro Fireman’s Relief Association.
Martin Joins Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters
Angela B. Martin, an associate with the law firm of Devine Millimet in Manchester, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester. The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization helps children in need of mentoring by matching them with caring adults who provide guidance and friendship. Martin writes on legal topics for business publications and is a frequent lecturer regarding business entity selection for the Women’s Business Center. She has been a member of the NH Bar since 2002.
