Jury Practices Survey
NH Responses Needed!
In the last stages of data-gathering, the National Center for State Courts is renewing its request for participation by NH trial attorneys in responding to a national survey on jury procedures and practices.
NH Superior Court Chief Justice Robert Lynn is also renewing his request for judges to participate in responding to the survey.
NCSC is conducting this national survey, and it will be giving each state objective and comparative information to evaluate the jury system.
Responses are needed by the end of July, 2006, submitted online or by mail.
The survey, which takes only a few minutes to complete, asks attorneys and judges to comment on the jury practices experienced in their last jury trial. The survey can be completed online at: http://www.ncsconline.org/d_research/practitionersurvey/
The survey does not retain the name of any judge or attorney or case-specific identifying information.
Questions about the survey itself can be directed to Chris Connelly (1-800-523-0204), who is assisting in the management of this project. He can also be reached via email at cconnelly@ncsc.dni.us.
