Check-in Change at Supreme Court
Beginning with September 3JX oral arguments, there is a new attorney check-in procedure at the Supreme Court, designed to reduce waiting time for attorneys and parties.
Instead of requiring all persons presenting oral argument to check-in at 9 a.m. for the morning session and at 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon session, check-in times will be staggered. The check-in procedure for full court oral argument will change beginning with the October calendar.
Specific check-in times will be listed in the oral argument list mailed in advance of court proceedings. The clerk’s office will notify all attorneys and non-represented parties of any schedule changes that effect check-in time.
